Revealing two changes to state laws that will create more opportunities for Medicare Supplement options. "commencing with the first day of the birthday month of the person and remaining open for at least 60 days thereafter...same or lesser plan… insurance carrier MUST notify clients of this every year”! Idaho’s new Birthday Rule Law - "Guarantee Issue" (no comp for agents) - Equal or lesser plan - This law leaves it up to the insurance commissioner who, as of today, has not implemented any rule changes yet.
