AEP for 2019

Update from December 8 - December 31st, 2018 See the video below MAPD people can apply now for February 1 effective date for a Medicare Supplement if they still wish to get off of Medicare Advantage. Once approved by the Medicare Suppplement carrier for the 2/1 effective date, THEN, after January 1, they can notify Medicare that they are opting to go back to Original Medicare AND sign up for a Part D plan. The Part D plan, too, will then be starting 2/1. They must understand it is too late in the season to try for January 1, so they WILL be on the same MAPD plan for January and we can shoot for Feb 1 DEPENDING on whether they are approved in Underwriting or not. Still probably best to schedule these U/W applications for after THIS week, since they're not a priority for 1/1 effective.
