See meeting notes under the video: AGENDA For the NY Retiree people, we can look at doing HI plans in conjunction with their MAPD if the GI plans are too expensive. GTL is GI from 64.5-68. This allows us to sell MAPD/HI/Cancer instead of just one policy HDG isn’t always best, sometimes, it may make more sense for lower-income (but not Medicaid) people to go with MAPD/HI/Cancer because if their HI/Cancer premiums get unaffordable (like an HDG can get) then they can cancel those and not risk losing health insurance altogether. Not all NY Retirees will be living in NY to be able to take advantage of year-round OE for a Supp. They will now have to pay for Part B, dental, and vision. If they go with OG Medicare, they will pay Part B, Medigap, PDP, and DVH. (Mikayla) If you are forwarding an email from a client to another employee or internal support please include what you would like completed by the other employee. Don’t just assume they know what you need assistance with. We no longer want to hear “Call me when you are ready” or “Call me back when you get your Medicare number”. Agents must ask for the sale or schedule these as follow-up appointments. “The process generally takes 2-3 weeks for A & B to get approved. Let’s schedule a follow-up call for 3 weeks from now to get this completed” “Okay, I understand that you want to think about it/talk to your spouse/etc let’s go ahead and schedule a call for next week so we can regroup and answer any further questions you may have” This needs to be indicated in the name section when scheduling these follow-up appointments. “*” a single asterisk before their name indicates that it is a follow-up appt. “**” a double asterisk before their name indicated that the follow-up is for a person that needs their Medicare number to get enrolled. Admins will be calling the ** marked people to confirm they have that Medicare number/required information prior to the appt. Agents will need to mark in radius what they need for the appt and lock it at the top. This asterisk system is being put in place so that KP and MK know that it’s a follow-up appt scheduled by the agent and to ensure you are following up with leads. If a lead isn’t willing to schedule the follow-up appt. When we send our follow-up email we need to have clear “NEXT STEPS” in that email so when they go to look at the information, it is outlined for them. E.x. “NEXT STEP” 1. Review the information I have included. 2. Use my booking link so we can get your coverage in place. These people should be a priority in our Lead Follow-up since we don’t have a scheduled second follow-up appt. If you have not followed up with a lead for 60+ days they will get put on a sheet for Kendall to track. These leads will be looked at as “free game”. If an agent is caught up on their lead follow-up and NLVM they can reach out to KP for a list of leads to reach out to. (Mikayla) We need to get out of the mindset of I should have a full calendar and if I don’t it is the admin's fault. Admins have an entire list of responsibilities other than just scheduling appts for agents. If you don’t have a full calendar, then take that time to fill it with follow-up appointments or the NLVM. There are plenty of things you as agents can also be doing to ensure sales on your calendar.
