We will not be able to easily reschedule if they are not prepared. When you edit an event on the Google calendar it DOES NOT change the calendly availability. Ex. Changing a couples drug plan appt from 30 min to 1 hr. Must be done in calendly or on their specific google calendar which you don’t have access to. PTO - Part of having PTO is managing it and using it wisely. This time is meant for both unexpected occurrences like sickness AND planned personal time like vacations. Planning out ALL of your PTO for vacation with no cushion for the inevitable unexpected issue is not responsibly managing your PTO. Unpaid time off should not be your backup plan. As full-time employees, we need to be able to count on you to be here full time. AEP is here (basically). Meetings will get shorter (not less important- just faster) Attention to detail and multitasking will be your two most important skills. Have patience with each other. Ask for help when you need it. Chris When someone is coming off of a large group or considering doing so, we MUST tell them of the possible drug plan implications. This can be huge and is worth reminding about, often. How to handle death claims when a beneficiary calls in: Sorry for your loss. The claim must be started with the insurance company and we will help when needed. They will, in the first two years, ask for a statement from the agent. If it is within 2 years, the insurance company will investigate in order to see if the health questions were answered accurately. If they were not, they will refund all premiums paid. If everything is straight, they will pay the claim. After two years, there is no period in which this can happen, except for fraud. They will usually pay the claim immediately (after 2 years.)
