Touch base. Update / Communicate. Hannah Put your cell phones away. Every week, we look around the room and see people scrolling or texting on their phones. Then, we get questions throughout the week that were explicitly covered in the meeting. We can all go 30 minutes to an hour without being glued to our phones. The point of the MMM is to communicate important updates and changes to you and to come together to collaborate and share successes. We need everyone to be present during this time to set ourselves up for a successful week. Clean up after yourself & be considerate of the communal areas. Refill the Keurig and wipe up splatter after you use it Refill the water cooler or ask someone for help refilling the water cooler if needed Don’t leave dirty dishes on your desk or in the sink. We now have a lot of people and when everyone leaves dirty silverware at their desk, it’s easy to run out. (Also, bugs…gross) Open Enrollment to change benefits is THIS WEEK (2/5 – 2/16). This is the only chance to review and change benefits for the year unless you have a life-changing event. If you do not make any changes, your current elections will rollover to the next plan year with the exception of Flexible Spending Accounts. FSAs require re-election each year. You can make changes in BenefitSolver app through the Okta Dashboard. Part A Hospital Days/Benefit Period Part A Deductible—not an annual deductible (does not reset annually); resets each benefit period. Benefit Period – begins the day of an inpatient admission and ends when the beneficiary has not been an inpatient for 60 consecutive days Copays – Days 1-60 $0/day (after deductible); Days 61-90 $408/day; Lifetime Reserve Days (60 total) – Days 91-150 $816/day; all costs after day 150. Medicare Supplement plans come with an additional 365 Lifetime reserve days that pay after all Medicare benefits have been used Lifetime reserve days do not reset or replenish. Once they have been used, they are gone. Part D Effective Dates Certain enrollment periods do not allow you to choose your PDP effective date. Instead, they are assigned based on when you enroll. MA-OEP: will always start the 1st of the following month We need to make sure we are diligent in giving accurate instructions to clients about when they should apply for a PDP See common PDP enrollment periods, SEP codes, and effective dates here: Part D Enrollment Cheat Sheet Radius Templates- Many radius templates pull information from fields in the client or lead’s profile. Ensure you are filling out all the required information in Radius so that these emails populate the information needed. Before sending an email from a template, scan through the email to make sure all the necessary information is pulled from the profile. This is also a good time to tweak the template to personalize it or make minor changes to fit a unique situation. If you feel there is everyday communication that does not already have a template, please let us know so we can create one for you. Kelly Admin: Do not refer leads we are working with to call the insurance companies directly. This needs to be clarified for the process. Ex. Has had appointment/plan has been recommended, 2nd appointment is scheduled - lead calls in with questions. Do not refer that lead outside of our office to speak with an insurance company directly. Sales Meeting NCD by Metlife Plans now covers Simple extractions under basic/ Type B services for NCD by Metlife Value, Essentials, and Complete Dental Plans This will affect both current and future members Submit all applications under your own login if you have one. You no longer need to “split” the commission with Chris for MOO. It’s causing confusion with processing and is no longer worth the effort. If you do not have a login for other carriers, please notify us ASAP. Be on the lookout for emails from carriers to complete steps for the contracting process or to register your own account. Make sure we are putting the last possible date in the PDP tab not the effective date If you are planning vacation or requesting time off take a look at your calendar and block it off. If you already have appointments scheduled, it is your responsibility to look at getting those moved to other agents or rescheduled No app fee for ACE in Idaho, Maine, West Virginia, or Vermont.
