AEP Triage and Our Numbers for October

Usually, I'm a kind of private guy - I know, sounds weird with having a website sharing everything we are doing, but it's true. Here, for the first time in the 8 year history of MedicareAgentTraining.com, I am showing what we are actually doing in here, with the numbers specific to October, 2020. See the video... This year is slightly different from last year and it is from lessons learned in the past. While our October numbers are lower than they were this same time last year, we have two less people in the office, are not running any online ads this year, and we have a much higher sense of morale and overall office mood this AEP! We have a new triage system in place and are attacking the incoming voicemails based on a priority system that is based on: 1) OE and T65 people (there are a LOT) 2) Underwritten 3) MAPD to Med Supp Conversions 4) MAPD to MAPD (huge time investment here) We have two dedicated Part D specialists that have full appointments all day, every day, and alternating Saturdays. We also have a website for self-directed Part D enrollments that does not require the client to interact with us at all (no Scope of Appointment, Presentation, Application). This is our second year using our website for this (StartPartD.com) and it is working very well, again, signing up hundreds of folks who can easily navigate their way to see the same information that we can. This kind of website, by the way, is used by all of our contracted agents, too, for free. It can also be used for self-enrollments into Medicare Advantage Plans. Covered here. Sending out a client communication e-mail the week prior to the start of AEP was critical. In that e-mail, we send the clients to our client update video, telling them accurately that there is a full-on push to have them give up their original Medicare + Medicare Supplement and replace it with a Medicare Advantage plan. Sure to form, it has been on every television station non-stop since. Those who missed our e-mail are sent the video link via text message and e-mail again when and if they reach out asking the questions that were covered in the e-mail (What do to during AEP - check your drug plan, etc.)
