Gabby Part B Effective Dates - Let’s try to remember the Part B effective date is critical to know what we can and cannot do for clients/leads. The Part B effective date triggers a person’s Open Enrollment Period to where they have 6 months before; 6 months after that effective date to enroll in a Medicare Supplement without going through underwriting. Once someone is 6 months past their Part B effective date, we can look into seeing if the person is eligible for a Guaranteed Issue Right (such as losing employer coverage). However, the Part B effective date does not trigger a Special Enrollment Period to enroll in Part D. September Renewals - Expect an influx in calls due to Email/VM Drops going out for our September Renewal clients.
