Not clear yet on what carriers will pay us or not. Prior Authorizations - Lawmakers pressuring CMS to fix Prior Auth quicker. Story here US Fire - No longer available in KY and MD due to the Birthday Rule being passed in these states. Aetna - Aetna Announces ACC and ACI rate increases for WV: Plan G and Plan N 9-10% increase. Also, Aetna in CA doing the same. Must treat all as one. Avoid when possible. 6/26 Aetna Med Supp announced no more "secret word" as signature. Must use Authentication number sent to client. ACE - Ace rate increases are not as bad as what we were originally told Anthem - Pulling out of NY - Globe Life (United American) is the one to write. UHC - We are doing contracting with UHC Cigna HHD - Cigna now requests that the client calls in to get their HHD added to the older spouse to request it be added once the new policy holders policy is approved Kendall Scheduling Lead Follow-up - since we are now requiring agents to schedule their lead follow-ups, as we go through and check lead statuses, there should not be notes that say “They will get back to me” or “They will let me know”. This is a heads up to all agents that we are regularly checking radius notes and statuses after appointments to make sure everything is being completed properly. If we continue making these types of notes and not scheduling lead follow-ups then in the future we may start distributing these leads to agents that want it more. Future Prospect Status - Rock Enroll Broker Rollout - Thursday, June 29⋅9:00am – 1:00pm Gabby Trial Right - Medicare beneficiaries can use Trial Right to test an Advantage plan before committing to it. It's important to note that Trial Right can only be used once. There are two types of Trial Rights available, but specific qualifications must be met before using either one. Retiree GHPs and Retiree MAPDs do not qualify for TR. Trial Right 1: If you sign up for a Medicare Advantage plan at age 65 (when your Part A coverage starts), you can use TR1 to switch to a Medicare Supplement before the first 12 months are over. Part A eff date & MAPD eff date must match in order to qualify. Trial Right 2: If you switch from a Medicare Supplement to an Advantage plan, TR2 permits you to switch back to the same supplement within 12 months of being on the Advantage plan. This is allowed only if it was your first time ever being on an Advantage plan. If the supplement plan that you were originally on is no longer available, then a Guaranteed Issue Right is granted.
