See meeting notes under the video: OFFICE MEETING NOTES Chris NV BDAY rule update with MOO - "Nevada has changed their regulation on how carriers can pay commissions on the Birthday rule. Mutual has updated their commission schedule and will now pay 15.75% at the agent level. Mutual was previously paying commissions as GI." JULY 1 - Nevada birthday rule started July 1. ACE Launches there July 10 and pays near normal comp on birthday rule. Mutual of Omaha language: Rhode Island updated its Medicare supplement regulation to require Plan A to be made available to individuals who are under the age of 65 and eligible for Medicare Part B due to disability or end-stage renal disease (ESRD.) Medicare supplement applications for eligible under age 65 policyholders in Rhode Island can be taken starting July 1. Coverage will not be made effective prior to July 1 or beyond 60 days from the application date. Rhode Island has also created a one-time special Open Enrollment period for those who are under age 65 and more than six months past their Medicare Part B effective date. This Open Enrollment period begins on July 1 and concludes on August 30, 2023. See below for additional details. · Plan A is the only plan available.
